Meet Baby Jax

Delhi the Street Dog Foundation was contacted by someone on Facebook about a puppy that was in dire need of being rescued. Even though we had just rescued a litter of puppies and didn’t even have enough funding for them, we just could not say no.

We were told that her entire litter had been attacked and killed by territorial street dogs living in the neighborhood and that she was the sole survivor. Furthermore, we were informed that her mother was no longer producing milk. These circumstances meant we knew that we immediately had to step in, as her chance of survival was very slim.

We immediately contacted our vet in India who sent her team to rescue the puppy. We decided to name her Baby Jax. Jax was in safe hands and was moved to a foster home until we could find her a home.

It didn’t take Jax long to find a forever home as a family in Vancouver wanted to adopt her. Luckily, we were able to find her a flight volunteer. She arrived to Vancouver on February 14th 2019 and was picked up by her new family.
